Why dance?

The benefits of dance are now widely recognised. Dance involves twisting, bending and stretching with wide expansive movements we wouldn't normally use in everyday life. It uses the body as a whole and improves balance, strength and flexibility. Dance is a fun, safe, creative, social activity and can help combat anxiety and stress.
